Dan Kofoed Hansen

Dan has 30 years’ experience in the global wind industry, including 20 years in Australia. He brings a combination of strategy, execution, leadership and technical expertise. 

Dan has successfully held several senior positions in the industry, including Senior Project Management Country Director for Nordtank/NEG Micon.  

In 2001 Dan took on the role of Head of NEG-Micon’s activities in Australia, which later became Vestas. Following this, he was then appointed managing director / CEO for Suzlon’s Australian wind activities. 

Dan has a strong vision for renewable energy in Australia and his passion is the foundation for his success. 

Since his time at Suzlon, Dan has worked as a consultant providing commercially astute advice to clients across the renewable energy sector.
